It is with gratitude and acceptance of God’s will we announce the call to the eternal rest of Jane Kabura Macharia on June 11th 2023.

Daughter to the late Stephen Mwangi and Faith Njoki, wife to the late Julius Macharia, sister to the late Jeremiah Wahinya, Fridah Wangari, Grace Waithira, the late Nancy Wanjiku, Godfery Ngigi and David Irungu.

Mother to Mary Wambui, Boniface Kanyi, Margaret Njeri, Faith Muthoni, Stephen Mwangi, Jacob Kimani, John Gitau, and Rachel Gathiru. Mother-in-law to Rosetta Wanjiku, Jackie Mwangi and Gladys Njeri.

Grandmother to Kevin Wokabi, Jane Kabura, James Macharia, Linus Ndegwa, Jane Kabura, Cecilia Muthoni, Chelsea Kabura, the late Kate Kabura, Serena Nyambura, Michelle Kabura, Shantelle Njeri, Juanita Muthoni, Maxwell Macharia, Isaac Macharia, Amaya Kabura, Prince Mwangi and Joyranim Kabura.

Great-grandmother to Marshal, Leilani, Ethan, Mwakio, Milan and Eliana. She was an aunt to many.

Family and friends are meeting at ACK St. Mark’s Westlands and at her home in Githagara from 4pm to 7pm.

The cortege leaves MP Shah Hospital Mortuary at 7am on Tuesday June 20th 2023. There will be a Requiem Mass at ACK St. John Githagara Church on 20th June 2023 at 10am, and burial at her home.

You were a beacon of strength, love, Kindness and resilience. Your departure has left an irreplaceable void in our lives. Rest in peace.
