It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Jane Njeri Mwangi of Kasuku, Weru Sub Location, Ol Joro Orok Constituency, Nyandarua County.

Daughter of the late Muchina Chege and the late Nduta Gitau. Daughter-in-law to the late Benson Thaiya and the late Elizabeth Nyambura.

She was a sister to late Zakayo Kamau, late Loise Nyambura, late John Muchoki and George Kihwaga.

Wife to the late Major John Benson Mwangi Thaiya, Mother to Alex Thaiya Mwangi, James Muchina Mwangi, and Elizabeth Nyambura Nganga. Mother-in-law to Martha Wangui Mwangi, Shirley Kegehi Muchina and Ng’ang’a Njiinu. Loving grandmother to Michael “J B” Thaiya, Nathan Mwangi Muchina, Gabriel Lugalia Muchina, Wamoro Nganga and Wangari Nganga.

Sister-in-law to the late Emily, Mary, the late Gerald, Margaret, the late Eunice, the late Wallace, the late Grace, the late Kiratu, Jane and lbon.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in Regen, Muthiga, Kinoo, Kiambu County from 5pm.

The mass will be held at Consolata Shrine, Westlands on Wednesday 2nd August, 2023 at 10:00am.

Viewing shall be on Thursday 3rd August from 1:00pm to 2:00pm.

The cortege leaves the PCEA Kikuyu Hospital Mortuary on Friday 4th August, 2023 at 8:00am for burial at her home in Kasuku Township.
