Mother of Gladys Njoki Wandete (former Nairobi County Health Office), Lucy Njeri Ndung’u, the late Dishon Ngure Ndung’u, Daudi Wachira Ndung’u (former KBL), John Mburu Ndung’u, Samuel Mwangi Ndung’u and James Kuria Ndung’u (Front Trails Safaris). Sister of the late William Mwangi (Kahoko), Beth Wanduku, the late John Kamau, Anna Warura, Zipporah Njambi wa Nganga (Lari) and late Gideon Karuri. Sister-in-law the late Zipporah Kimingi, the late Alice Wanjiku Karanja, Rhoda Nduta Ndung’u, the late Faith Wanjiru Ngure, Agnes Waithera Njoroge, the late Sophie Nyambura Maingi, John Mburu Ngure and David Kuria Ngure.
