Jane Nyambura Rumathi (Mama Njama)

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance’ of the Lord’s will that we announce the death of Mrs. Jane Nyambura Rumathi (Mama Njama) of Kiamuiru village, Gatitu sub-location Nyeri County, which occurred on 23rd October 2022.

Daughter to the late William Kabutha Ritho and late Nancy Gathoni Kabutha of Kanuna village, Kirichu sub-location, Nyeri County.

Beloved wife to the late David Rumathi Njama, formerly of 4NTE Sacco. Loving mother to John Njama and Lucy Wambui Njama, William Maina and Joyce Maina, Hon Nginga Kimotho and Susan Wambui Nginga, Raphael Ngera of Kodris Africa (formerly of Equity Bank) and Nancy Muthoni Ngera, James Muthigani, Benard Ritho (Equity Bank) and Mary Wanjiru Ritho.

Sister to Helen Mulinge, the late Lucy Wanjiru, late Nellius Kabutha and late Carol Nyamathira. She was an auntie, cousin, grandmother, great grandmother, friend and mentor to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at her Kiamuiru home in Gatitu sub-location Nyeri County and in Nairobi at Hon Kimotho’s house, Thome I Estate, opposite PCEA Gateway Church, next to the upcoming Quickmart Supermarket along the Northern Bypass starting at 5.30p.m.

The cortege leaves Nyeri Funeral home, Outspan, on 1st November 2022 at 8.00am. The funeral and burial service will start at 10.00a.m at her husband’s home at Kiamuiru village, Gatitu sub-location, Nyeri County.
