It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Jane Wambui Muchungi of Nyeri County, Mukurwe-ini Sub-county Gikondi Location, Karindi Sub-location, Chungu Village.

Daughter of the late Francis Njoroge and Elizabeth Wangui from Gatukuyu, Mang’u. Beloved wife of the late Francis Muchungi Gachanja. Mother of Elizabeth Wangui (Power Plant Inspectors and Consultancy Limited), Rufus Gachanja (Businessman, Nairobi), Virginia Ngima (Skill Bridge Consultancy Limited) and Charity Muthoni (Business Nairobi).

Grandmother of Loise (Power Plant Inspectors and Consultancy Limited), Ashley (Nairobi University), Arshavin (KBA School), Stacy (Mathaithi Primary), Tiffany (KBA School), Elton (Maria Immaculatta), Francis Jane Wambui (Mathaithi Primary), Bob (Rock Fields Junior) and Amelia (Maria lmmaculatta).

Mother-in-law Muchungi of Joseph (Skill Bridge Consultancy Limited), Lucy (Business, Karatina) and Michael (Power Plant Inspectors and Consultancy Limited). Sister of the late Reri Njoroge, Wangari Kamami, the late Wanjiru Njoroge, the late Njui Njoroge, Teresia Ngugi, the late Njuguna Njoroge and the late Maria Kinyanjui. Daughter-in-law of the late Rufus Gachanja and Virginia Nglma. Sister-in-law of the late Charity, Rose, Marjorie, late Wachlra, Wangui, Nguyo, the late Gachuiri, Wamahiu and Leah. An aunt and a friend to many.

The cortege leaves Path Hospital – Karatina, on Tuesday 20th April, 2021 at 9:00am for funeral at Gikondi Catholic Church, at 11:00am, thereafter for a private burial at her home in Karindi, Chungu Village. In accordance with the MoH Covid 19 directives.
