It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Janeffer Muthoni Waweru formerly of Gikomba Market, Nairobi.

Daughter of the late Robert Waweru Ngachaku and Lilian Wanjiru Waweru.

Doting mum to Robert Waweru Mwangi and Josphine Muthoni; Linet Wanjiku Mwangi and Godfrey Wachira; Lilian Wanjiru Mwangi and Ally Mohammed; and Brian Mugo Mwangi.

Sister to John Muturi Waweru (Alpha Hotel Mukuyu), James Mwangi Waweru (Kamlesh) of Murang’a County Government, Millicent Wanjiku Waweru (Murang’a Town Management) and Nancy Mwihaki Waweru (Murang’a County Assembly).

Sister-in-law to Loise Maina, Grace Muturi, Caroline Muturi, Jane Mwangi, Lucy Mwangi (Kamlesh) and Rev. Dr. Githaiga Gathiira (Karatina University).

Loving auntie to Lilian, Thuo, Esther, Janeffer, Stephen, Robert, Peris, Lilian M, Jimmy, Stellah, Mercy, Janet, Nathaniel, Eric, Zippy, Mungai, Eunice, Maina, Dennis, Chiru, Morris, Joylyne, Hope and Prudence. Shosh and cousin to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at the family home in Kairi Village and Murang’a Mukawa Hotel from 7:00 pm.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home, Kabati, on Friday, 8th April, 2022 at 8am followed by a funeral service thereafter at her parents’ home in Kairi Sub-location, Mathioya Sub-County, Murang’a County.
