Janet Nanjekho Khaoya-Munyasia

16th May 1957- 2nd July 2022

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Janet Khaoya Munyasia.

Daughter to the late Hon. Joseph Khaoya and the late Bethsheba Namwela. Wife to Hon. John Munyasia. Mother to Junior and Rose, Brian and Judith, Laura and Churchill, Flora, Sheena, Virginia and grandmother to many.

A sister to Rtd. Col. Khaoya, Hon. Mulunda, Hon. Moses, Col. Khaoya, Edwin, Peter, Rose, Judy, Margaret, Beatrice, and others.

In-law to the late Euphemia Simiyu, Dr. Sisenda, the late Mary Kunikina, Juliana Gadd, Colleta, Tuki, Richard, Frederick, Ben, Majimbo, Agatha, Joyce, Alice, Agnes among others.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at 4pm at her home in Tenstar – Kanduyi.

The cortege leaves Lifecare Bungoma on Thursday 7th July for an overnight vigil at her home.

The funeral service will take place at Kanduyi D.E.B Primary School on Friday 8th July followed by final burial at her home in Tenstar.
