It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Janet Waithera Gachamba which occurred on 7th August 2019 at the Nairobi West Hospital.

Beloved wife of David Njogu Kihagi. Loving mother of Elvin Kihagi and Brandon Gachamba. Adorable daughter of Zakaria Gachamba and Grace Gachamba. Sister of the late Rebecca Kiiru, Sospeter Gachamba and Justin Muna. Daughter-in-law of the late Joseph Kihagi Karanja and Zipporah Wanjiku Kihagi. Sister-in-law of Wakonyo Kihagi, Josephine Waridi (UK), Karanja Kihagi (UK), Onesmus Mwangi, Margret Wakonyo, Hon. John K. Kihagi, Samuel Gakuo, Naomi Nduta, Mary Nyambura, Samson Mboche, Rahab Wairimu, Jane Watiri, Ann Kibugu, Irene Njonge, Martha Gatwiri and Julia Wamaitha. Auntie, cousin and friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home at Kayole, Naivasha, her parent’s homes in Kinamba and Kabati and at Merlin Resort (Gulf Petrol Station along Naivasha — Nakuru Highway) from 6.00 pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Jamani Funeral Home at Karai — Naivasha on Friday, 16th August at 9.00 am for funeral service and burial at Kinamba.
