Son of the late Kalimu Mbutu and Wandia Wethea. Husband of Grace MulKief, Father of Esther Ben, Amos Kiminza, James Kaloki, Janet Musya, Theophilus Waema, Dorothy Mbithe, Ruth Mueni, the late Joseph Nzioka, Phyllis Ndinda and Alfred Sila. Brother of the late Malandi. Father-in-law of Ben Mwove, Daniel Musya Kiilu, Joseph Mbuya, Fred Nyamai, Joyce Kiminza, Pascaline Kaloki, Veronicah Waema. Grandfather and great grandfather of many.

The cortege leaves Montezuma funeral home Machakos on Saturday 13th January 2018 at 7.30 am for burial at his home Muangini Village Mumela Sub-location, Kasikeu Location,
