Appreciation

1932 — 25th January 2022

With thanksgiving to the Almighty God for the gift of our mother for 90 years,we – the family of Jessie Muthoni Nyamu – would like to acknowledge the support and assistance of all who stood alongside us during the period immediately following her demise.

We are grateful to everyone who showed support through prayers, visits, calls and text messages, and for the love and sacrificial kindness demonstrated through monetary contributions towards arrangements for the funeral of our dear mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
We wish to express our special thanks to the following: Rev Prof Kefah Njenga (Vicar of ACK St Paul’s Kiambu), together with the clergy and Mother’s Union members, choir and congregation of St Paul’s, for pastoral care before and during the arrangements for final rites and laying of our mother to rest.
ACK Christ Church Westlands, Nairobi Chapel Ngong’ Road, International Christian Fellowship (ICF) Rosslyn, Kileleshwa Covenant Community Church and ACK St Peter’s Muguru, Kangema, AAR Ambulance Service, Lee Funeral Home; the funeral committee, our extended family, in-laws, neighbours, prayer partners, friends and Mum’s former colleagues from Kenyatta University.

We owe a special debt of gratitude to our neighbours, Fred and Kanini Ngaruiya.

Since it is not possible to name each individual, we extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who supported us in any way and helped us to accord our mother a dignified farewell. God bless you all.
