It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden passing on of Joab Mambiri Amogola of Parliamentary Service Commission which occurred on Monday, 19th January 2026 after a short illness.
He was husband of the late Jane Ochingwa.
Beloved son of the late Solomon Amogola and the late Repha Amogola.
Cherished father of Steve Austin Shivonie, Lain Amogola and Blessing Arudi.
Brother of Grace Bunoro, late Rose Khavayi, Doris Khasungu, Brenda Khasandi, Lydia Muhenje, the late Allan Atsenga, the late Wycliffe Mugogo and Maximilla Khavochi.
Brother in-law of Caleb Imbwaga, Patrick Akenga, Raphael Wekesa, Bainito Chalinga, Humprey Lavatsa, Aluvala and Steve Memba.
Cousin of the Mushiras, the Mmanyisis, the Isayi’s, the Yakhama’s, Mbehero’s, Ingases, the Lubeka’s and the Kefe’s.
The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home (Nairobi) on Thursday, 29th January 2026 at 8.00am for his rural home in Lirhanda, Shinyalu, Kakamega County for the burial on Saturday, 31st January 2026.
