Joackim Cheleigo Kipkosgei

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mzee Joackim Chelelgo Kipkosgei, the former Retired Senior-Assistant Chief Kapchorua Sub location on 8th December 2018.

Son of the late Takulo Kimetto and the late Toiyoi Kimetto of Cheboen farm Kipkabus. Loving husband of Hannah Kosgei. Father of Diana Kosgei (Kipriria), Jacqueline Kosgei (ORPP), Mildred Kosgei (Kenya Dairy Board), Wilfred Kimosop (KDF), Linda Kipketer (ADC), Kelvin Kosgei (NIS), Brian Kosgei (Simotwo). Grandfather to Ivy, Rodgers, Judith, Doreen, Keith, Joy, Allan, Cephas, Edwin, Emmanuel Michelle, Lewis June, Walter, Ryan and Alvin. Great grandfather to Gabriel.

Brother to Ruth Kigen, Christina Kimisoi, Patrick Kosgei, the late Laban Kosgei, Grace Kemei, the late the late Joseph Kosgei, the late Jane Kosgei. Father in-law to Stanley Kimutai (KENGEN), Daniel Kibet (LAPFUND), Wilson Boit (former MCA, Kapyemit ward), Irene Chebii (EDARP), Agnes Maruchok (Kenya Power) and David Tarus (Kimwogo).

Friends and relatives are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at home Simotwo.

There will fund drives to meet the cost of burial on Thursday 13th December at All saints Cathedral Starting. 60Opm and at home Simotwo on Friday 14th December 2018.

The cortege leaves Moi Teaching and Refferal Hospital on Monday 17th December 2018 at 4.00 pm for an overnight stay at home.

Funeral service and burial will be held on Tuesday 18th December 2018 starting 10.00a.m in Simotwo Kapyemit Ward, Elgeyo Marakwet County.
