We announce the resting in Christ of Mr. Joel Kithaka Maringah on 14th April 2021 at RFH Healthcare.

Son to Susanna Nduti Maringah and the late Eliezer Maringa of Karii, Mbeere South, Embu County. Beloved and devoted husband to Mrs. Faith Maringah. Best Dad to Kennedy, Francis, Eunice and Walker all of USA. Father-in-love to Susan Waweru of USA. Grandfather to many including Mark, Nicole, Hasaan, Fayth, Devin & Derek, Liz, Imani and Zawadi all of USA and Brian (UK). Brother to many including Isabella Maringah, Esther Maringah, the late John Maringah and Prisca Maringah. Brother-in-law to Catherine Maringa. Cousin to Chief Esbon Mbogo and Bernard Mugo (USA), among others. Uncle to many including Sandra, Suzie and Mishie, Peter Njeru, Mugambi and Karimi.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta Memorial Funeral Home (Kahawa West) on 22104/2021, at 7.00am for the Church service and burial at his residence in Kabingori, Mbeere South, Embu.

2 Corinthians 5:8 We are confident, YES, Well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord!

    It’s sad n a shock to learn of your demise.More sad to imagine that I’ll Never see No more in this present life …
    But am so glad n Grateful to God for all that you did to me:-
    *Taught/Trained in Nyangwa school in 1964/65.
    *Sponsored me with All my Wedding cards n transportation in 1977.
    *Standing with my family for the 12 years I’ve been away in USA(Coordinated my Son’s so good).
    *Flew from Los Angels n Your dear wife,Faith from Boston,n Converged at my home in Lakewood/Tacoma-Seattle Washington early last year,to check on me n witness that am safe n gather what to report back to my Family..This happy moment will never fade in my life.,
    I cannot have better words say Thanks,but only say ..”It is Well..,It is Well with my soul..”

    RIP Mr Maringa my friend. We met back in 1988 at suprsonic offices in Nairobi when i visited to pay for a flight ticket you had trust enough to send me before you knew who i was. That is trust beyond believe that i will never forgot. I know where you are now…with the lord where there is never pain any more. My mom proceeded in march. Please say hi to her. Till we meet again RIp..

    Our heartfelt condolences and prayers for the family. Mzee Joel was a gentleman and very instrumental in facilitating our travel arrangements many years ago. I got to know the family well and shared the privilege of knowing his children. Please take heart and let God ease you pain during this loss.
