John Baptista Mwangi (JB)

It is with profound sadness but humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of John Baptista Mwangi, following an illness bravely borne, on August 1, 2022.

Son of the late Kariuki Mwiiri and the late Mary Wanjugu. Brother to Leah Wanjiru Muriuki and the late Ndirangu Kariuki.

Loving husband to Miriam Wambui Mwangi. Father to Alex Kariuki, Mary Ann Mwangi-Ngugi, Stephen Njoroge, Blaise Mwangi, red Chege, Irene Njeri, and the late Timothy Githinji.

Father-in-law to Ann, Sammy Ngugi Ng’era, Carol Muthoni, Jane Magu, Holger Kratz, Ann Wacuka.
Grandfather to John Brian, Favour, Andrew, Alvin, Patricia, Martin, Justin, Suzzane, Jennifer, Ian, Lee, Vanessa, and Adrian. Loving in law, uncle and friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Ngunguru Village.

A requiem mass be held at his home tomorrow Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 3.00pm.

The cortege leaves Outspan Funeral Home, Nyeri, on Monday, August 8, 2022 at 8.30am for a funeral service and burial, in Ngunguru Village, Karatina, Nyeri County starting 10.30am.
