It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Coach John Champion Ndibalema, which occurred on 24th March, 2022, after short illness.

Husband to Jean Ambiyo and Caroline Nyangatare Champion. Father to Jacqueline (Nairobi), the late Herbert, the late Janet, Julian (Germany), Juliet (Nairobi), Toi (Germany), Jacinta (USA), Joy (USA), Joan (USA), Ruth (Germany), Jonah (Nairobi) and Joao (Nairobi).

Son in-law of the late Johanes Angwenyi and the late Mama Boera Angwenyi.

Brother-in-law to the Angwenyis, Onyiegos, Anundas, Nyauntus, and Michiekas.

He was beloved nephew, uncle, cousin, grandfather, Korera, and friend to many.

He was the former coach of Shabana FC, Kisii Olympic Youth, Mumias and Sony.

He was a coach and mentor to many football players in Kisii.

The cortege will leave Hema Hospital, Kisii, on 8th April, 2022 for his funeral service at Matoke SDA Church grounds in Nyamataro, Kisii, and then proceed for burial at his home in Nyamataro, Kisii, on the same day.
