John Fredrick Akelola

It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mr. John Fredrick Akelola, which occurred on Saturday 16th July 2022, after a long illness bravely borne.

Son of the late George Meshack Akelola and Bessi Isiatsa Akelola. A very dear brother to Jane Akelola (Hillcrest), Dr. Serah Akelola (Nottingham, UK), David Akelola, Rose Nyamweya (PPRA) and Linda Akelola. Father to Nelson and Sarah Akelola.

Bother-in-law to Bishop Kepha Nyamweya Omae (Redeemed Gospel Church, Inc.), Ruth Akelola (Masinde Muliro University) and Kerubo Nyambane (Mt. Kenya University).

Uncle to George Akelola Drammeh, Martin Kagasi, Edwin Kagasi, John Omae Nyamweya,Victoria Omae, George Nyamweya, Brian Akelola Nyamweya, Chantelle Isiatsa, Dylan Alvin, Philip Akelola, Diana Akelola, Bessi Akelola, Moses Akelola, among others and a friend to many.

The burial will be held on Saturday 23rd July 2022 at Lusengeli Village, Sabatia Sub-County,Vihiga County.

The Lord gave, the Lord has taken away. To God be the glory.
