John Kimathi Munoru

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mr. John Kimathi Munoru of Antubochiu village, Igembe South Sub-County, Meru County, which occurred on Sunday 5th August 2018 at Maua Methodist Hospital after a short illness.

Beloved husband of Joan Kagwiria Kimathi. Son of Marion Kamami MUnoru of Maua. Father of Brian Gikundi Kimathi and Kevin Mwiti. Son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Fredrick Kirera. Brother of Gerald Mwiti of Nairobi, Morris Gitonga of Maua and Joy Christine Makena of Kathathene Primary School. Brother-in-law of Joyce Gerald, Sam Gichunge, Murithi, Kageni Muthuri, Lucy Murithi, Phyllis Nicholas and Kariuki.

Nephew of the late Isaiah, the late Meme, the late Joshua, Rael Kabutia, Peninah of U.S.A., Jack of Maua, Mary of Nairobi, Kairira of Maua, Zippy of the U.S.A. Jane Njeri of Arusha, Wangui of Nairobi, Waicungo, Kathekia, Muthee, Murithi, Kadogo and Gasambi. Grandson of the late Justus Munoru, Sarah Munoru and late Phyllis Wairimu.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home Antobochiu village and Midland Hotel, Maua at 5.00p.rn for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Maua Methodist Hospital Mortuary on Monday 13/08/2018 at 10.00am for funeral service at Antubochiu primary school and burial at his residence from 2.00 pm.
