It is with humble acceptance of God’s will we announce the sudden death of John Kinuthia Githinji, through a tragic road accident along Thika Super Highway at Ruiru. He hails from Githurai 45 (C.E.O Motel)
Husband of Mary Nyathira. Son of the late Stephen Githinji Waiganjo and the late Eunice Njeri Githinji. Son-in-law of the late Fredrick Githua and Phyllis Wanjiru of Igegania, Gatundu. Father of Eunice Njeri Chege (Kibichiku), the late George Githinji, Fredrick Githua (Githurai) and Phyllis Wanjiru Mwangi. Father-in-law of Eliud Chege and James Mwangi. Brother of Paul Waiganjo, Mary Nduta Kuria, Joyce Wanjiku Chege and Grace Wambui Njoroge (Eldoret). Step-brother of Naomi Wanjiku Kimani, Daniel Waiganjo Githinji, Bishop Joseph Mburu Githinji and Joel Gachang’i Githinji. Step-son of Ruth Njeri Githinji. Uncle of Antony Muriu Waiganjo, Godwin Githinji Kuria, John Kinuthia Waiganjo among many others. Grandfather of many.
Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his residence in Githurai 45 from 4:00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.
The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Tuesday 24th September 2019 at 8:00am. Burial and funeral service will be held at his farm Matuguta Githiga, Githunguri, Kiambu County starting from 10:30am the same day.

So sorry to hear. I lost a dear uncle I knew for a long time. May the grace of the Lord be with the family at this hard time.
Daddy, sometimes it’s difficult to believe that you went.. in my eyes, you were so strong healthy with many years ahead, but suddenly, you checked out. Such it’s life, no one knows the full plan and the exact timing of our days on earth.
