John Maina Gitonga

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the unfortunate and sudden death of John Maina Gitonga, the proprietor of JAMS Hotel in Nakuru, which occurred on 8th March 2023.

The son of the late Gitonga Wairi and late Rachel Wothaya.

Loving husband to the late Charity Thogori Maina and Ann Njeri Loving Father to Ken Gitonga, Willy Githaiga, Victor Kamuthu and Oliver Gitonga.

Brother to Margaret Wanjiru Mbirwe, Alphonce Mwangi •\Gitonga (Nairobi Power Engineers), Wilfred Muthee Gitonga, late Veronica Wanjiku Murugu, Beatrice Wanjugu Gitonga, Lucy Wairimu Hombe, Peter Kingori Gitonga, Purity Wangui Gitonga and John Muriu Gitonga (Control Gear).

The funeral will take place on Wednesday 15th March, 2023. The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home at 8.30am for the church service at St. Monica Catholic Church, Sec..58 at 11.00am, and thereafter burial shall be at Nakuru North Cemetery.

Friends and relatives are meeting at Jams Hotel daily from 6.00pm for prayers & funeral arrangements.
