John Marenya Waneno

It is with humble acceptance that we announce the demise ofJohn Marenya Waneno which occurred on 16th March 2022 in Nairobi.

Son of the late Mzee Nelson Waneno and late Mama Dina Ombonya.

Stepson to Mama Benta Anyango. Brother to the late Monica Abiya, the late Julia Arwa, Francis Owino, Clarice Omollo,Yuanita Anyango, Esau Omindo, the late Jacob Nyindha; and Ayub Okingo.

Stepbrother to the late Benjamin Omondi, Caleb Ondik, Michael Waneno, the late Musa Musar, Milka Aoko, Lilian Nyaundi and Josephine Anyango. Beloved husband to Jane Airro Marenya.

Father to Catherine Waneno, Nicholas Waneno, Charles Waneno and Robert Waneno.

Son-in-law to the late Charles Airro and the late Selina Airro from Sakwa.

Brother-in-law to Martin Ondeng, Gabriel Ayayo, the late Boaz Alego, Jerry Aluoch, Amos Agina and Jane Agina, the late Rose Owino, Florence Omindo, Grace Nyindha, Elizabeth Okingo, Anne Homillius, Jane Oyuga, Mary Obiero, Mary Ogutu, Peris Obel and Lucia Obiero. Father-in-law to Maureen Agina.

Grandfather to Nicole, Brooke, Natalie and Ivy.

Fundraising has been organised for Saturday 26th March 2022 at Magiwa Estate Field C from 2pm.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home for Kisumu on Friday 1st April 2022.

Church service will take place in Kisumu at Christ Church of Africa (C.C.A.) Dala Hera on Friday at 3.00 p.m.

Final funeral service will be held at his home, Gem L. Karariw Kaumara Village on Saturday, 2nd April 2022.
