It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of John Minza Mutevu – Head Teacher, Athi River G.K Prisons – Kitengela Primary School.

He rested while undergoing treatment at Bishop Kioko Hospital – Machakos.

Son of the late Peter Mutevu and the late Angelica Ngwembe, Husband to Geraldine Ngunya of Gertrude Children’s Hospital Kitengela, father to Anthea Nzisa of St. Monica Academy and Peter Ephphatha of PCEA Township Academy Kitengela.

Brother to Michael, Mueni, Monicah, Joseph and Joyce. He was uncle to Delan,Annette, Joy, Brayden, among others.

Son-in-law to the late Stellamaris Nduku. John Minza Mutevu Brother-in-law to Fredrick (Shebe), Polycap, Tony and Salome. Cousin to Fr. Stephen Kituu, Stella, Mulili, among others.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his residence in Athi River GK Prison – Kitengela – from 5:00pm for prayers and burial Preparations.

There will be a funds drive on Tuesday 26th April, 2022 at his residence in Athi River GK Prison – Kitengela.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home – Machakos – on Friday 29th April, 2022 at 8.00am for a funeral service at Kikoko Catholic Church at 10:00am, and there after burial will take place at the family ground in Kikoko village near Precious Blood Secondary School Kilungu.
