John Munene Nyaga

21 March 1942 — 20 June 2018

We regret to announce the passing of John Munene Nyaga, which occurred in the early hours of Wednesday 20th June 2018, following a long illness.

Son of the late Mr. Nyaga wa Magira and late Mrs. Beatrice Wangeci Nyaga. Beloved husband of Jean Njeri Munene and devoted father of the late Charles Nyaga, George Mwaniki Munene & Mutheu Muna-Mwaniki, Jimmie & Wachera Muchiri, Nancy Munene Kamau, Elizabeth Munene (Dubai) and Eddy Scholten & Juddy Munene Scholten (Dubai). Grandfather of Natalie, Steven, Joy, Naima, Musili, Imani and Baraka.

Brother of Jane Njoki Nyaga, late Njeri Nyaga, Joseph Muchiri Nyaga and late Catherine Nyambura Nyaga. Son-in-law of late Ethan Mwaniki and late Wanjiku Mwaniki. Uncle of many.

Meetings are being held at All Saints Cathedral on Monday 2Sth,Tuesday 26th and Wednesday 27th from 5.30 pm to 7.30 pm with a special service on Wednesday to celebrate his life and raise funds to defray hospital and funeral costs.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home on Friday 29th June 2018 at 7 am for a funeral service and burial at 11am at his home in Kangema, Murang’a.
