John Mwangi Maina

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of John Mwangi Maina which occurred on 28/4/2023 at Moi County Referral Hospital in Voi after a short illness. Until his death Mr. Mwangi was a staff at Kenya Cereal Enhancement Programme —Climate Resilient Agricultural Livelihoods (KCEP-CRAL), Coast Region.

Son to Johnson Maina Murindi (Gakure) and the late Tabitha Muthoni Maina.

Husband to Susan Gathoni Mwangi. Father to Michelle Muthoni Mwangi, Dylan Gakure Mwangi and Ethan Kahura Mwangi.

Brother to Marion Njeri and Peter Karuri Gathumbi, Grace Wanjiru and Peter Mwangi Nyaga, Elizabeth Wagithi and Joseph Kariuki Thuku, Joseph Wanjohi Maina and Beatrice Wanjiru Wanjohi, the late James Mutahi and Keziah Wambui Mutahi.

Son-in-law to the late Samuel Kahura Njoroge and Mary Wairimu Kahura. Uncle and Cousin to many.

Funeral arrangements are being held at his home in Ngong Town, Kajiado County and at Kianjege West, Kariti Ward in Kirinyaga County.

The Burial will be held on Monday, 8/5/2023 at Kianjege West, Kariti Ward in Kirinyaga County.
