John Njeru Nguu (Johna)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of John Njeru Nguu (Johna); A Teacher at DEB Kahururi Sec. School- Embu County. He also taught at Migwani Boys, Kangaru School, St Annes Kiriari Girls’, Kagumori Sec. St Peters Kathakwa and Nyangwa Bori.

Son of the late Peter Njeru and the late Regina Runji of Wthunguri Village, Kibugu Sub-location, Embu County. Husband of Alice (Nzeluni Pri Sch., Kitui) and Caroline. Father of Anthony Mutugi (KU), Victor Mwendwa (Meru National Polytechnic) Purity Gatwin (Pk Camel Academy) Kimanthi (Werus Academy), Munene and Mukami. Brother of Isaac Niiru (Erangi Food Processors), Alois Murithi (Kigari Day Sec Sch), Mary Murangi (Formerly of County Sec. Sch), Agnes Muthoni (Formerly Of Post Bank NW), Consolata Kanyiva, Catherine Kaari among others. Brother-in-law of Jamleck Mugo Kanambiu (Techinical University of Kenya), Stephen Mureithi (Jeremiah Nyasa Technical Institute-Rwika), Faith Njiru (Gatondo Pri. Sch), Mercy Muthoni among others. Uncle of Ken, Eric, Lorna, Dr. Robert Mugo (KNH), Karimi, Wania, Mukami, Gitonga, Millicent, Mwende, Gakii, Joy, Ngatha, Mwenda, Dennis among others.

Family and Friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at Canaan Guest House- Embu town next to Panesic Hotel, at his Residence in Donbosco near Weru’s Academy and at his Late Parents’ home Nthutiguri Village, Kangenge Prayer House, Nguviu Parish. All meetings Start at 5.00pm.

The Cortege leaves Embu Level 5 Hospital Mortuary on Tuesday 15th January 2019 At 9:00 am. A requiem mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church-Muthatari starting 11:00am and thereafter he will be laid to rest at his Residence in Donbosco Near Weru’s Academy.
