John Nyagah Gachivih

7th July, 1954 — 9th June, 2022

It is with humble acceptance that we announce the death of Mr. John Nyagah Gachivih, Formally a Senior State Council in the State Law Office & Department of Justice, following an illness bravely borne.

Son of the late Dishon Marecho and the late Lilian lrima Gachivih. Step-son of the late Ann Dishon.

Husband of Mary Nyagah. Father of Leakey Kathuri (Boma Nyumbani LTD), Ken Mureithi, Chris Kinyua & Lornah Wanja (Nestle Kenya Ltd.). Father-in-law to Eva Kathuri & Lorne Lwoya. A doting grandfather to many.

Brother of the late Aladin Njeru, the late Jane Miano,Wincate Ng’ang’a, Rose Momanyi, the late Nicholas Marecho,Anderson Murithi (KPA, ICDN), Genesia Marechoh & Elizabeth Njue.

Brother-in-law of Beatrice Njeru, Margaret Murithi, Miano George, Momanyi James,Asige Saul & John Njue.

Step-brother of Bernard Mwaniki, the late Warrant Officer (WO) I Jonah Njeru, Senior Private Retired Danson Maringa, Irene Muthoni, Bilha Gaconi, the late LT. Jackson Njue & Elizabeth Kilonzi.

Funeral meetings are being held at the All-Saints Cathedral and at his home in Kiamuringa, Mbeti South, Embu County.

The cortege will leave Gakwegori Funeral Home on Friday 17th June, 2022 at 9:00am to Kiamuringa ACK Church, for the service at 10:00am and thereafter burial will be held at his  home in Muteme Farm
