Appreciation

We the family of the late John Onyonka B.Akara together with the larger Borura family, wish to convey our heartfelt gratitude for the love, compassion, generosity and support extended to us prayers, words of comfort, personal visits and material/financial sustenance during the sad time of the demise and final laying to rest of our beloved John on 8th April 2022.

Our special appreciation goes to the staff and management of Export Processing Zones Authority (EPZA) for devotedly walking with us to ensure a befitting send-off for John. We also appreciate the clergy and faithful of St. Paul’s Catholic Chapel, Nairobi and St. Peter’s Matutu Catholic church for their dedicated prayers, presence and support to the family. In a very special way, we thank Fr. Mandere, Fr. Kapito, Fr. Mbugua, Fr. Kaigua, Lectors/Choir of St. Paul’s and all who assisted and continue to support the family in prayer and spiritual nourishment.

Our deep and heartfelt gratitude go to our neighbors in Jonathan Ng’eno Estate for their swift response at the time of distress.

We also thank Hon. Mwancha Okioma, the Bob’s group, World Vision Kenya (WVK), KRA CSSD leadership, Prudential Cluster, Institute of Certified Secretaries (ICS). Baobab Network, Upande, St. John’s Ambulance, Kasneb, Mwa’Ogeto, Mwa’Kwamboka, Mwa’Getanda and all the leaders and groups who walked with us in one way or another during the difficult time.

We acknowledge in a special way the great work done by the funeral organizing committees in Nairobi and Nyaronde village to coordinate a befitting send-off.

We also appreciate Umash Funeral Homes and all the funeral service providers who delivered excellent services.

We were assisted and lifted by many wonderful relatives, friends, colleagues, neighbors and plea groups during the difficult time, it is however not possible to mention each one individually; accept this as our deep and heartfelt gratitude. Our prayer for all who made a difference to us:

The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon yo be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.
