It is with profound sadness and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved John Philip Luusa on Saturday 27th September, 2025.

John was the beloved husband of the Late Irene Nthoki Luusa of Syalavo Village, Kyawango Location, Machakos County. Father of Kenneth & Jacqueline Luusa, Beatrice & David lcharia, Marshal & Jibek Luusa, Paula & RoderickWeir and David & Soila Luusa. Doting grandfather of John, Philip & Ivy, Daudi, Irene, James, Daniela, Elijah, Lewis, Magana, Imani and Lengai.

Son of the late Ngyema Kivuvo and the late Beatrice Mutuku Ngyema and the late Naomi Mwiombe Ngyema. Brother of the late Joshua, the late Jones, the late King’waa Mutinda, the late Ruth Mumo, Obadiah Musyoki, Justus Mutuku, the late Peter Kimuli, and Charles Nzioka.

Son-in-law of the late George Sila Katumbi and Anna Wavinya Sila of Mango Location, Machakos County. Brother-in-law of the late Daniel Ngungu, the late Mwikali Masyuko, the late Constance Ndinda, the late David Ngumbau, Margaret Sila, Samuel Katumbi, the late Danson Kasyoka, the late Jackson Ndivo, and Mary Ndunge.

Uncle to many.

In-law of Felix & the late Margaret Pinto, Hon. John Kamau & Phyllis Wandia lcharia, the late Bolot Baikojoev & the late Valentina Baikojoeva, the late Donald & the late Doreen Weir and the late Dr Magana Njoroge Mungai & Njeri Mungai. A beloved friend to many.

Friends and family are meeting for prayers at PCEA Loresho Community Church, on Kaumoni Close today at 5:00pm, tomorrow Thursday 2nd October, 2025 and on Sunday, 5th October, 2025 at 3:00pm.

A memorial Service will be held at PCEA Loresho Community Church, on Kaumoni Close on Wednesday 8th October, 2025 at 9:00am.

The interment will be held on Thursday 9th October 2025 at 10:00am, at Syalavo Village, Kyawango Location, Machakos County.
