Arch Bishop John Waweru Gichuhi

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Arch Bishop John Waweru Gichuhi of Holy Revelation Church of Christ which occurred on 1st July 2018.

Son of the Late Mr. and Mrs. Evanson Gichuhi Thiong’o, husband of Ruth Wairimu Waweru. Father of Peris Njeri, Cecilia Nyawira, Evans Gichuhi, Elizabeth Waithira, Jane Nduta, Leah Wanjiru, Lucy Wanene, Racheal Muthoni and Zachary Ngugi. Brother of Ngigi, Munene, Njenga, the late Wanjiru, Mbugua and Thiong’o, Muthoni and Njoki. Grandfather of many.

Family and relatives are meeting at his home in Nyeri County at 5pm daily for funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Consolata Hospital Funeral Home Nyeri for burial services at his home in Kiaragana Village Endarasha Location, Nyeri North Sub-county, Nyeri County on Tuesday 10th July 2018 at 9am.
