It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to glory of Mr. John Waweru Wamae of Kagunda Village, OI’kalou – Nyandarua County who passed away, on 24/08/2022 after a long illness bravely borne.

Son of the late Margaret Wahito Wamae and the late Wamae Maina of Kamune Sub-location, Murang’a County. Husband to Agnes Wahura and the late Virginia Wanjiku. Brother to the late Mains Wamae, the late Mwangi Wamae, the late Thiong’o Wamae, Njoki Njiru and William Wambugu of Kamune Sub-location, Murang’a.

Father to Eunice Wahito (Nakuru), the late Emily Wambui, Lady Justice Njoki Mwangi (High Court Mombasa), Fraciah Wanjiru (Nakuru), Peter Wamae (UK), Ruth Wangui (USA), Kennedy Wamae (Nairobi),Wilson Kuria (USA), Anthony Mains (Australia), Fidelis Wahito (Nairobi) and Michael Mwangi (Nairobi).

Father-in-law to Richard Wainaina (Nakuru), the late Muchiri Nduati, Mwangi Njenga (Mombasa), Jane Wamae (UK), Maria Kuria (USA) and Irene Maina (Australia).

Grandfather to Jacque, Gathoni, Kate, Ronnie, Njenga, Sean, Wanjiku and Amani. Great-grandfather to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Legacy Hotel – Nakuru Town and at his home in Kagunda Village,Tumaini from 6:00 pm.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home – Nakuru at 8:00am on Saturday, 03/09/2022 for Funeral Service and burial thereafter at his Home in Kagunda Village, Tumaini.
