It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely death of Jona Meja Ole Nchoki, that occurred on Saturday 16th July, 2022 after a short, illness, bravely borne.

Loving husband to Grace Meja, Rahab Meia and Hellen Meja. Son of the late Erume Ole Sirma and the late Nkotoyia Ene Erume of Kajiado County. Son-in-law to the late Ries Mopel, the late Mpoyo Sakuda and the late Kiyian Ole Nkirgisiai.

Brother of the Late Noosamaki Sakuda, the late Mulee Nchoki and Tianoi Saitaga.

Father of Maikai Meja, Josephine Pulei, Eliud Meja, Mary Parakuo, Francis Meja, Pauline Lois, Hannah Malit,Albert Meja, Julius Meja, Agnes Kiruswa, Lydia Kirrinkai, Leah Sonkoi, Stephen Meja, Richard Meja, Isaiah Meja and Tianta Meja.

Father-in-law to Eunice, Damaris Ikote, Charity, Esther, Damaris Piyosi, Gladys, Regina, Teckler, Amanda, the late Francis Lempee, Parakuo Pulei, Lois Ole Mpeti, Malit Kurraru, Dr. Kiruswa, Chief David Kirrinkai and Denis Sonkoi.

Grandfather to the late Nanta, Sision, Nailantei, Emily, Simaloi, Sironka,Naisoi Sironka, Peninnah, Saningo, Saruni, Sanare, the late Meeli, Lankoi, Keyiaro, Munge, Lankaine, Rimanto„ Nesiamo, Gordon, Leyian, Sanaipei, Kolian, Reuben, Malayen, Nempiris, Partati,Pereruan, Namunyak, Nairuko, Namelok,Teyian, Kishoyian, Seyian Tante, Kipino, Naisoi, Kasana, Diana, Mempei, Samuken, Peshy, Letia, Charlene, Mayiani, Seyian Kiruswa,Liarin, Lemein, Mayian, Maloi, Lekishon, Lempiris and 12 great-grandchildren. Cousin, Uncle and Guardian to many.

Friends and family are meeting daily at his home, Kimuka village Kajiado County and at Chatter Hall in Nairobi City County from 5.00pm for funeral planning meetings.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home – Nairobi on Monday 25th July, 2022 at 7.00 am for the funeral service and burial in his home in Kimuka village Kajiado County.
