Jonah Mwangi Ndirangu

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Jonah Mwangi Ndirangu (formerly of Central Bank of Kenya) on Sunday, 30th April, 2023.

Son of the late Hezekiah Ndirangu and the late Elishiba Waithera of Marumi Village, Kirere Sub-Location, Kigumo Division, Murang’a County.

Loving husband to Ejidia Wanjiru (Mwalimu). Father to Catherine Gathigo and Steve G. Mwaniki, Edward Maina and Rachel and Peter Githinji and Betty-Jean.

Brother to the late Zipporah and the late Meshack, Mary and the late John, the late Cecilia and the late Ndung’u, Dr. Michael Thuo and Njeri, Jane Nduta and Njoroge, Faith Wairimu and Njaramba and the late Lucy.

Grandfather to Nicholas, Dr. Mumble Shiru, Denis, Mburu, Emmanuel, Gitau, Raphael and Gachigi. Uncle and friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting at All Saints Cathedral (Nairobi) From Wednesday, 3rd May 2023 to Tuesday, 9th May2023:5.30pm to 8.00pm, and at his rural home in Mukuria Village, Gacharage, Kandara, Murang’a.

The cortege leaves The Kenyatta Memorial Funeral Home (Referral) on Thursday, 11th May, 2023 at 7:30am for burial t his home in Mukuria, at 10.00am.
