Jones Ndemo Mokaya

It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mr. Jones Ndemo Mokaya of Co-operative University of Kenya, which occurred on Monday, 11 September 2023 at Coptic Hospital after a short illness.

Son of Mr. William Mokaya Ntabo, Mrs. Hebisiba Moige Mokaya and Susanna Mokeira Mokaya of lkuruma Village, Mosobeti, Gesima, Nyamira County. Son-in-law to the late Lucas Mokua Bikundo and Jane Kerubo.

Loving husband to Damaris Nyaboke Ndemo, doting father to Sylvia Moraa and Denis Makana.

Brother to Jane, Wilkister, Stephen, Kennedy, Joyce, Alice, Peter, jackline, the late Geoffrey, the late Zachary, Evans, Peter, Japheth, Benson, the late Gladys, Irene, Robert, Felisters, Jane, Richard and Eric.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at his home in Gataka, Rongai.

Fundraising for funeral expenses shall be held at Professional Centre along Parliament Road, Nairobi on Tuesday, 19th September 2023 starting at 5:00 p.m.

The cortege will leave Umash Funeral Home, Mbagathi Road on Thursday, 21 September 2023 at 7:00 am for burial at Ikuruma Village, Mosobeti, Gesima Location, Nyamira County on Friday, 22nd September 2023.
