Son to the late Zablon and the late Recho Maina. Husband to Nancy Cheruiyot. Father to Shallyne (Morning Star Academy), Zippy, Erick, Shadrack, Dennis, Mercy, Amos, Festus, Ambrose, and Hyline.

Brother to the late Rae’, the late Joel, Grace, Esther, Anna (USA) and the late Stanley.

Son-in-law to the late Mr. & Mrs.Wilson Tembur. Father-in-law to Mercy, James and Aron. Brother-in-law to Ruth Cheruiyot.

Uncle to Hon. Beatrice Kemei (Woman Rep. Kericho County), Judy (USA), Sammy (Kengen, Olkaria), Shadrack (NSSF), Alfred, Paul, Eng. Hillary (Beta Healthcare, Nairobi), Linner (USA), among others. He has left behind several grandchildren.

The cortege leaves Kapkatet Mortuary on Friday 12th August, 2022 at 2:00pm for a church service at AIC -Town Fellowship, Kapkatet. Funeral service and burial will be held at his home, Nganaset Village, Kapkatet, on Saturday 13th August, 2022 starting at 10:00am.
