It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to Glory of Mr. Joseph K. Mativo (Retired Commissioner of Police), which occurred on 22nd March, 2023 at Machakos.

Son to the late Mativo Kituu and the late Pricillah Nduku. Son-in-law to the late Kimuge Chemjor and Annah Kimoi Kimuge.

Loving husband to Mary Jemutai. Adoring father to Mercy Loko, Anne Kasiva, Catherine Ndindi, Sammy Nduva and William Koech. Father-in-law to S. Chirwa, Angela Njeri and Marian Dime. Grandfather to Lancelot; Catherine; Logan; Ella; Beveriy; Anaya; Dylan; Arnaya; Leon Annette and Rani. An Uncle to many.

Brother to David Mativo, Rtd. Mjr. Boniface Mativo; James Mativo, Mbithe, Agnes, Musau, Loise, Serah, Mua„ Ndulu, Wanza, Katile, Musyoki, Makumi, Ngina, Nzilani, Mutava, Mutinda, Kioko, Malinda, Mulo, Ndinda and Mueni, among many others.

Brother-in-law to Celina, William, Elizaboh, Coleco, Teresia, Esther, Rose, Monica, Francis, C. Mbwika, P. Mulindo, among others.

Family and Friends are meeting daily at his Vota Farm residence.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home – Machakos on 29th March, 2023 at 8.00am for funeral services and burial at his Vota Farm at 12.00 noon on the same day.
