It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mr. Joseph Kahhu Stephen of Kiriti Village, Mungaria Sub-location, Aguthi Location, Nyeri County, which occurred on 28th May, 2023.

Son of the late Stephen Kamau Kahu and the late Salome Wambui. Step-son to the late Tabitha Njeri.

Husband to Priscilla Wanjugu and Esther Kirigo. Father to the late Salome Wambui, Mary Gathoni, Ian Kamau. Elsie Wambui and Alex Maina.

Brother to the.late ElizabethWairimu, the late John Muigana, Beatrice Muthoni, the late Catherine Waceke, Robert Ciira, Rahab Njoki, the late Gideon Mathu, the late Samuel Njagi, Ann Njeri, the late Milka Wambui, the late Esther Maina, the late James Kahu, the late George Macharia, and the late Patrick Kamau.

Son-in-law to the late Gathui Kahuho and the late Purity Wanjiru Gathui & the late Joseph Maina Gatuhi and the late Mary Gathoni Maina.

Brother-in-law to the late Wamwangi, Wambugu, King’ori, Kariuki, the late Kamau, the late Wangari, Margaret, Gatuhi, Kinya, Migwi, Wangui, Machira and Muriuki.

Grandfather to Lewis Gikandi. A cousin, uncle and friend to many.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home (Thika Road), on Saturday, 3rd June, 2023 at 8.00am for the funeral service and burial at his Kiriti home.

Prayers and meetings are taking place at his home in Tassia Estate at 5.00pm from Tuesday, 30th May, 2023 to Thursday, 1st June, 2023.
