He hails from Mutunguru Village Ndarugu Location, Gatundu South, Kiambu County. Loving husband of Lucy Warnbui Kimata. Son of the late Mwalimu Wanjema and Naomi Wambui Wanjema. Father of Boniface Wanjema, Loyce Nyokabi (Australia), Jackline Wanjiru (U.S.A), John Gakobo, Cecilia Wairimu (Australia) and the late Ester Wangui. Brother of the late Justina Wanjiku Githae, Lucy Nyambura Kihurnba (M.C.A Menengai Word Nakuru), Michael Kiarie (Karatu), Dorothy Waceke Njau (Ngong), Felistas Njoki Osotsi (ROngai), Perpetual Wairimu Okulu (U.S.A) and Magdalen Wanjiru (U.K). Son-in-law of the late Mr/Mrs John Gakobo Kuria (Kambaa). Brother-in-law of the late Salome Njambi Githara (Ruai), Agatha Wangaci Muiruri (Kamulu), Jennifer Wanjiru Richis (U.K) And Jessee Ng’ang’a Gakobo (Ruai). Step brother of Peter Kairu Kiarie (Director Theta Tea Factory), Geland Kimata Kuria (Brookside Dairies (Ruiru). Relatives and friends are meeting daily at his home Mutunguru at 3:00pm and Blue Springs Hotel (Thika Road) at 5:00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.
