Joseph Kiombe Kedeki

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of our beloved Mzee Joseph Kiombe Kedeki, that occurred on 8th August, 2022 at the Kakamega Referral Hospital ICU unit. He was a resident of Sakali Village, Mahiakalo Sub-location, Lurambi Sub-county, Kakamega County.

He was the son to the late Mzee Mukayagi Kedeki and the late mama Salome Avilia. Husband to Hadah Mmbone and Rose Khanonda. Loving father to Lorna Mideva Amugune, Joash Osotsi Kiombe, the late Jennifer Afandi, Margret Oliech, Benson Kidiavai, Alfayo Kisivuli, Esther Avilia, George Kedeki, Gideon Agamu, Enah Ilavusa, Alex Luvavali, Geoffrey Ingosi, Susan lmali, Christopher Kim, Rydon Kadasia and Policap Josiah Kiombe.

Father-in-law to the late Pamela Ngira Apopo Kiombe, Dorah Kedeki, Roselyne Agamu, Christine Kidiavai, Beverlyne Kisivuli, Mourine Luvavali, Hellen Yosia, Pamela Kadasia, Margaret Ingosi and Betty Kim.

Bother to the late Andrea Madegwa, the late Samuel Anzeze, Mzee Simon Ambani Kedeki, Mzee Samuel Mema Kedeki, the late Isnasi Kilwaye, the late Agnes Adema Kedeki and the late Tokesi Savonge.

He was an uncle to Henry Kidiavai, Peter Inzoya, Gladys Kanaiza, Peter Kichamu, Fredrick Mema, Jenifer Mugeha Onzere, Anderson Kedeki Ambani and many others. He was a grandfather, great grandfather, friend, counselor and mentor to very many people.

The cortege leaves Kakamega Funeral Home on Tuesday 16th August, 2022 for a Requiem (mass) service at his home, Sakali Village, Kakamega county, starting at 2.00pm. The burial service will take place at his home on Wednesday, 17th August, 2022 starting at 10.00am.
