It is with profound sorrow that we notify you of the passing on to eternal glory of Mr. Joseph Muthiani on Tuesday, 12th April 2022 at the Mater Misericordiae Hospital after a short illness.

Mr Muthiani joined CUEA on 13th October 1984. Until his untimely demise, he was working as a Cook in the Catering Department.

The late Joseph Maingi was born in 1957 at Kanzalu village, Kangundo Sub-county Machakos County.

He was the son of the late Muthiani Mawa and Francisca Ng’ondu and husband to Margaret Kalulu.

He was Father to Victor Muthiani, Lucy Ng’ondu, Simon Kamuti, Jacinta Nzula and Daniel Mawa.

Father in-law to Rose Njambi, Gabriel Kimeu and Moses Wambua.

Grandfather to; Everlyne Ndunge, Beverlyne Kalulu, Alicia Muthoni and Audrey Kalulu.

In-law to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Wambua, the late Bonface, Veronica and Mr. & Mrs. Peter Thuo.

He was brother to the late Dominic Mweu, Cosmus Malile, John Mutiso, Magdaline Kalekye, Cecilia Wanza, Magdaline Syombua, Christine Mutheu, Florence Mutio and late Victoria Mumbua.

He was a step brother to John Kivilu, Daniel Mutinda, Eunice Ndanu, Mary Ndinda, Ruth Nduku, Kithae Naomi and Rhoda Mwaw’a.

The burial will take place on Wednesday 20th April, 2022 at Kanzalu village, Kangundo Sub-county, Machakos County.
