Joseph Mbiruri Waweru (Baba Ken)

We regret to announce the sudden death of Joseph Mbiruri Waweru (Baba Ken), which occurred on 21st December 2022, after a short illness on a business trip in Nakuru.

Son of the late Francis Waweru & Magret Gaturi.

Husband of Mary Njoki Mbiruri. Father of Ken Waweru (Hawkers Pride -Thika), Kelvin Mwangi (Shoe Garden – Nyeri), Martin Karanja & Samuel Chege – Students Muranga High School.

Son-in-law Shadrack Mwangi & Janet Wambui.

Brother of Stephen Karanja, John Mwaura, Mwalimu Dominic Kamami, Lawrence Wamburu, Teresia Wambui Kariuki, Micheal Tumbo (County Government of Kiambu), the late Mary Mumbi & Ann Njeri.

Brother-in-law of James Kariuki, Peter Kamami, John Chege, Jospeh Mugo,Andrew Nganga, Daniel Njoroge, Susan Wanja & the late Jospeh Wanyoike. Grandfather of Janelle Njoki, Janine Gaturi, Jaba Mbiruri & Jaythan Mbiruri Mwangi.

Friends and relatives are meeting at Cascades Premier – Thika, at his residence in Thika Section 9 and at his rural home in Kanyigi Village, Mangu. The cortege leaves Monalisa Montezuma Funeral Home – Kabati on Thursday 29th December 2022, at 7:30am, for funeral service at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church – Mangu, from 10:00am. Thereafter burial will be held at his home in Kanyigi Village Mangu Gatundu – North Sub-county – Kiambu County.
