Joseph Njogu Mungai

It is with humble acceptance that we announce the death of our beloved father Retired Chief Inspector of Police, Joseph Njogu Mungai.

Son of the late Hezekiah Mungai Cunga and the late Milkah Wairimu Mungai. Husband of Mary Njambi. Brother of Josphine Wanjiku, the late Jacinta Nduta, Charles Ngugi, Ann Wanjiru and John Nyutu. Son-in-law of the late Jenio Muchoki and Dorcas Nyambura. Father of Mr. Alexander Njogu, Elias Ng’ang’a, David Ngugi, Hellen Wairimu, Florence Nyambura and Rose Wanjiku. Father in law of Rose Wangui Mungai. Grandfather of Brian, Natalie, Austin, Celine, Lloyd and Desmond.

Friends and family are meeting daily at his home in Githua-ini Village, Kariti ward, Kirinyaga County.

The cortege leaves Kerugoya Hospital Mortuary on Wednesday 14th July, 2021 at 7.00 a.m. and thereafter funeral service will be held at his home in Githuai-ini Village, Kirinyaga County.
