Joseph Ogwen Teya

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph Ogweri Teya that occurred on 7/1/2018.

He was son of the late Josiah Teya and Tabitha Matundura. Husband of Jeliah Kemuma. Brother of the late Monda Teya, late Gentonto Teya, John Teya, Samwet Teya, Jemimah Nyamweya and Eunice Wama. Father of Alice and Dr. Charles Moturi, Joyce and Timothy Atinda, Grace and Samson Mainye Florence and Daniel Obino, the late Charles Ondari and Jackline, Kefa and Anne. Robert and Billiah, Mary and Henry Nyabuto and Shem and Josephine. Grandfather of Kelvin, Geoffrey, Hillary, Mercy, Levis, Deborah, Bruce, Ashley, Francis among others.

Great grandfather of Leroy, Keyden, Bruce and Amara. Nephew of Okere, Bochaberi, Nyaramba, Nyandwaro, Onyango, Basweti, Maroko, Oyunge (all late) and Ogoro. Uncle of Erick, Kerubo, Naomi, Gladys, Paul and Cliff. Brother-in-law of late Esther, Damaris, Grace, Eunice, late Nyamweya, late Wamai, Monica, Onyancha, Rael, Hellen, Japhet, Onchieku and Onduko. Cousin of Okeres, Bochaberis, Nyarambas, Ogoros, Nyandwaros, Baswetis, Onyangos, Marokos and Oyunges.

Family and friends are meeting daily from 5pm, at LMS-Nairobl, Nyansiongo Kijauri home and Kisii Mwalimu Hotel- Kisii. The main fundraising will held on 16/1/18 Tuesday at Nairobi Central SDA church from 5pm.

The cortege leaves Hema Hospital Mortuary on Wednesday 17/1/2018 for burial at his home Nyansiongo Kijauri on Thursday 18/1/2018.
