It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph Thogo Mwai (Kawairimu) of London, United Kingdom.

Husband of Leah Wanjiru Thogo. Father of Daniel Mwai, Eric Njenga and Michael Mucheru (all of London, UK). Son of the late Mwai Thogo and Gladwell Mwai (Mama Thogo). Brother of James Mucheru (UK), Rose Mwai the late Charles Mbugua, the late David Njeng’wa and Grace Mwai (USA). Also a brother of Mary Maina, Sarah Dako, Joe Mwai, John Njuguna (UK), Charles Njiriri, John Thogo, James Mbugua, Samuel Mburu (UK) Josphat Njogu (UK). Brother-in-law of Mary Njeri, Lucy Wamaitha, Margaret Wambui, Peter Gichuki, Hinga,Waithera.

He will be buried on 8th October, 2019 in the UK.

Family and friends will meet at their family home in (Kwa Mwai, Mabroukie, Limuru) on the same day for memorial service and live-streaming of the burial from 11:30am, Kenya time.
