It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Joseph Wachira Kariuki of Classic Foods and formerly of OilLibya – Kenya, on 08/09/2022 following a short illness.

Loving husband to Stella Kabura Kimemia. Father to Marilyn Wanjiru, Henry Kariuki and Sylvia Nyambura all of Moi Educational Centre.

Son of Jackson Kariuki Ndegwa and Mary Wanjiru Kariuki of Kirimukuyu Village Nyeri County. Son-in-law to the late John Kimemia and Grace Kimemia.

Brother to Rose Ngima Muteithia, Dr Anthony Maina Kariuki of Muranga County Referral Hospital, George Ndegwa, Charles Mangua, Late Fabias Munga and Eva Wangui.

Brother-in-law to Patrick Muteithia, Grace Ndegwa, Lilian Mangua, Herbert Mwangi, Phyllis Kimemia, Brenda Kimemia and Christine Kimemia. Uncle, cousin and friends to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers at his home in Otiende Lang’ata and at the Parents’ home in Kirimukuyu from 4.00pm.

There will be a requiem mass on Wednesday 14th September, 2022 at St. Michael’s Archangel Catholic Church – Otiende, Lang’ata at 10.30am.

The cortege will leave Jamii Hospital Mortuary – Karatina on Friday 16th September, 2022 at 9.00am for burial at Gatiko Village, Ngaini Location Kirimukuyu, Nyeri County.
