It is with gratitude and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the transition of Josephat Kiruguri M’itwerandu of Ndagwene Village, Mwanganthia Ward, Imenti Central Sub County, Meru County.

Son of the late Ezekiel M’itwerandu and the late Julia Mukiri.

Beloved husband of Immaculate Mugure. Father of Douglas Muriira (Interior), Peter Kimathi (Subaru Kenya), Charles Mwaki (County Government of Kitui), Purity Kanana (JKUAT), the late Morris Muthomi and Triphosa Gatwiri (Business Lady).

Father-in-Law of Doreen Muriira (KNH), Joan Wambui (KRA), Rachel Pamela (Business Lady), Robert Munene, (JKUAT), Gabriel Kaesa (Kenya Prisons).

Brother to the late Dominic Mutua, Sabina Kiende, Priscilla Kathure, the late Michael Ntugi, Amaria Gite and Paul Muriithi. Grandfather to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his Meru home from 4.00pm.

The cortege leaves St Theresa Mission Hospital Kiirua Mortuary at 9.00am on Friday, 6th January, 2023 for a funeral mass at St Monica Catholic Church, Kiamakoro (Imenti Central, Meru) at 10:30am. Thereafter the burial will take place at his home in Ndagwene.
