The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP), regrets to announce the death of Mr. Josephat Nyakundi Nyang’au, Prosecution Counsel at the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions Kisii, which occurred on 17th November, 202 at Oasis Hospital in Kisii.
Husband to Lorna Mongina Keganda. Father to Sharntel Bonareri Akanga. Son to Andrew Nyang’au Ombiro and Rhodah Gesare Nyang’au. Brother to Nancy Moraa, Dennis Omwanja, Hildah Ogake and Scholastica Kwamboka. Son-in-law to John Nyamburi Keganda and Alice Kemunto Keganda. Brother-in-law to Abdqani Ali and Damaris Kemunto.
Nephew to Scholastica Kwamboka, Nassib Abdi and Felix Mogaka. His Uncles and aunties are John Rasungu, Kennedy Mokaya, Prof. Richard Ndemo, Lawrence Rusungu, Charles Rasungu, Joseph Gichana, Pamela, Beatrice, Sabina, Esther and Monyanji. Grandson to Robina, Mellen and Mary.
Daily meetings and prayers are taking place at his home in Eronga, adjacent to the school.
The cortege leaves Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital Morgue on Sunday, 28th November, 2021, for burial at his home on the same day at his home in Eronga, near Ongicha Primary School, Kisii County.
Josephat has fought a good fight and finished the race!
