It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely demise of Josephat Nyawaya Sagwe of Ministry of Health, Nairobi County which occurred on 18th November 2022.

Son to Johnstone Sagwe and the late Jane Nyanchera. Step-son to Hellen Nyabate.

Husband to Emma Mwango. Father to Ryan Motari, Shanique Raviera and Skylar Nyanchera.

Brother to the late Consolata Moraa, Thomas Atunga (State Department for Livestock, Nrb), Orina Sagwe (K.T.D.A — Itumbe), Abel Sagwe (K PLC-Embu), Caren Sagwe (Nakuru) Delphine Sagwe (Tombe Girls), Dr. Rose Sagwe (IPR), Phanice Sagwe (Ministry of Health-Mombasa), Nicholas Moturi, Dorca Nyakemiso and Edith Kerubo.

Son-in-law to Joseph Mosoba and Serebina Mosoba. Brother-in-law to Joyce, Lispher, Kerubo, Dr. Nduko, Juma, Dr. Ogaro, Edward, Oliphia, Allah,
Kevin, Ike, Stella, Macklyne, Rachael, Lilian, Nancy and Diana.

Uncle to Justine, Brian, Briggit,Valentine, Travo, Denzel, Lloyd, Conselsie, Connielieta, Consally, Sophie, Frazer, Treach, Dylan, Jemmie, Jean, Emerald and Jewel.

Nephew to Dr. Charles Makori, Rudiah, Jackson, Nyabuto, Enock, Norah, Drusilla, the late Omache, the late Simbe, the late Ong’ondo among others.

Cousin to Justice George Ongiondo, Josphine Masita, Micah Makori, Gloria Onyancha, Ellina Nimrod, Joshua Ongaki, the late Cyrus Ouko, Charles Nyarunda, the late Victor Omache among others.

Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, 30th November 2022 at Uhuru Highway Lutheran Church from 2:00pm.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home on 1st December 2022. The burial will take place on 2nd December 2022 at his rural home in Nyankongo Village, Gianchore,West Mugirango Constituency Nyamira County.
