It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to glory of Josephat Kimani of Geothermal Development Company which occurred on 3rd March,2022 after a short illness.
Beloved son to Henry Kimani Thairu, Anne Nduta and Mary Njeri.
Loving husband to Alice Kemunto and a caring father to Malick Waweru, Rohan Waweru and Norah Nduta.
Brother to Esther Wangui, Grace Wanjiku, Maureen Wambui, Rose (Canada), Tom (Canada), Phyllis (Canada) Catherine (USA), Sylvia (USA). Uncle to Henry, Ian and Reagan.
Brother in-law to James Karanja, Irene, Purity, Edwin and Albert. Son-in-law to Fredrick Osese, the late Norah Bosibori.
Nephew to Mary Waiganjo (Eldoret),Raphael Mburu, Daniel Kungu, the late Grace Wanjiku, the late Hellen Njeri, the late Sammy Njoroge, Henry Ngugi, Wilson Maina and George.
Family and friends are meeting daily at his father’s home in Rongai Nakuru and Maili Sita Nakuru.
The cortege shall leave Umash Funeral Home, Nakuru on 11th March, 2022 at 8:00am for burial that will take place the same day at his father’s farm in Rongai Jirani Mwema Farm.

Kwa familia ya Josphat, poleni sana kwa kumpoteza mpendwa wenu katika kifo, Mungu wa faraja zote awafariji wakati huu mgumu kama vile andiko la 2 korintho 1:2-4 inavyo onyesha Mungu ndiye chanzo cha kitia moyo. Pia Mungu anawakumbusha kwamba kuna wakati mutamuona tena kama vile andiko la Yohana 5:28,29 inavyo sema kwamba kuna wakati wataisikia sauti ya Yesu na kutoka kwenye makaburi.
