It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Joshua Aoko Ogola.
Loving husband to Herine Ogola of BugoVillage, Kogweno Oriang’ Location, Karachuonyo Constituency, Homa Bay County. Father to Carol, Alen, Larry, Lorine and the late Elvis Ogola.
Son to the late Ogola Onguru and Prescila Ongere. Son-in-law to the late Solomon and Margaret Agwati of Kamuma Village Oyugis.
His other uncles include; Mbuya Openda, Samson Onguru and Boaz Ongus. Brother to truphena Agono, Zilpa Abok, Esther Amolo, Salome Atieno, Grace Akoth, Olivia Oketch, Margaret Atieno (Kadogo), the late Elizabeth Akumu, Mary Auma, Anna Ongus, Hamis, Okeyo, Kellion Ogola, Jeremiah Ogola; the late Charles and Elis Ogola, and Musa Mbuya.
In-law to Morris Agwati, Tom Agwati, the late Ezron Abeka, William Wanjira, Solomon Ondili, Agnes Abeka, Dorcas, James Ondiegi, Chris Batti, Gabriel Odada, Peris Oyieyo, Julia Ogola (USA).
Grandson to Min Ondeng’e, Min Ouko Kawadhgone. Uncle to Ezron Agono, Humphrey Abok, Tom Amolo, the late Tedly, Bonface, Leon, Wendy (USA) and Brian Ogola, among others.
Family and friends are meeting every day at his residence Golden Gate – South B, Nairobi for prayers and funeral arrangements.
There will be a fundraiser at Joshua Ogola’s home in Bugo Village, Eka Church on 31/01/2023, as from 1:00pm and also on 30/01/2023 as from 5:00pm at Mbita Point Restaurant in Church House (St. Paul’s University Building) in the CBD.
A requiem mass will be held at Nairobi South SDA Church in South C, Nairobi on 01/02/2023 at 12:00noon.The burial service will be held on 03/02/2023, at his home Bugo Village, Kogweno Oriang’ Location, Karachuonyo Constituency, Homa Bay County.
