It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Retired Senior Chief Joshua Ocharo Mong’are who passed on 19/06/2023 at Oasis Hospital, Kisii.

Son of the late Zachariah Mong’are and Elizabeth Kerubo.

A loving husband to Jane Bosibori Joshua and Agnes Momanyi Boruru. Father to Geoffrey, Evans,Teresa, Enock, Elizabeth, Rael, Dennis and Ronald.

Brother to Florence, Japheth Mayaka, the late Moraa, Nyamora, Osoro, Okero, Raini, Mocheche, Jonnes and George.

Uncle to Fred, Nelson, Felister, Delbert, Duke, Jane, Lillian, Simeon, Zachariah,Vinic,Ariaga, Nancy, Lewis,Vincent, Grace, Everlyn among others.

Cousin to Ongaga Kinaro, Hellen Ratemo, Chief Kinaro, Marcella, Oroko, Anunda, Hellen, Simeon, Sese, Olechi, Otekis’, the late Mobegi, Nyangau, Mwasi, Magabis’ Nyamache, Hellenisa Nyaribo, Nyamora, Nyabeta, Mongare Orina, Manani, Jeria and many others.

Korera to the late Johnson Nyabicha Orenge and Mwango Nyabicha. Father in-law to Millicent, Catherine,Valarie, Kevin Nyabicha (USA) and Diana.

There’ll be a main fundraising in Nairobi at Professional Center from 5.00pm on 04/07/2023.

The cortege will leave Kisii Level Six Hospital at 1.00pm on 06/07/2023 and he will be laid to rest on 7/07/2023 at Konate Village,West Mugirango, Nyamira County.

You are deeply loved and will be missed. Rest well Dad until we meet again.
