Josphat Mugo Muriuki

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of our beloved Josphat Mugo Muriuki of Central Bank of Kenya, which occurred on 24/02/2023 after an illness bravery borne.

Son of the late Joseph Muriuki Kabia and Eunice Muthoni Muriuki.

Husband to Alice Nyaguthii Mugo. Father to Ivan Muriuki Mugo.

Beloved brother to Priscilla Wangechi (Deputy Principal Kaloleni Girls Secondary School), Loise Njeri (Mihango, Nairobi), Lucy VVainoi (Pats Motors – Nairobi), Elijah Wanjohi, the late Luke Karimi, Peter Gitari (Mukuyu Secondary School), Haron Njoka (GSU Headquarters – Nairobi) and Zaweriah Wangui. Cousin and uncle to many.

Prayers are being held daily at their home in Githunguri Village, Kirinyaga County from 4.00pm as well as at his residence in Ziwani (near Kariokor Market).

The cortege departs from ACK Mt. Kenya Hospital Funeral Home, off Kerugoya – Kagumo Road on Saturday 4th March, 2023 at 9.00am. Thereafter, funeral service and burial at his home in Githunguri Village, Kirinyaga County from 10.00am.

Mugo, You have fought a good fight, you have won the race, you kept the faith.
